社名の由来は、南アフリカ共和国•ズールー語の大好きな言葉「Ubuntu / ウブントゥ」です。
「翻訳できない世界の言葉」という絵本で見つけてから、 ずっと心に残っている大切な言葉です。
そこには、「あなたの中に、私は私の価値を見出し、私の中に、あなたはあなたの価値を見出す」という意味で「人の優しさ」を表すと書かれていました。
私なりに解釈をした言葉の意味は、 “互いを理解し、互いの存在に感謝し、共に未来を創る” です。
Ubuntu（ウブントゥ）は、食・旅・感（感動体験）などを中心に、人の思いを届けることのできるPR会社を目指しています。
The origin of our company name is "Ubuntu", which is our favorite word in the Zulu language of the Republic of South Africa. It is an important word that has stayed with me since I found it in a picture book titled "An Illustrated Compendium of Untranslatable Words from Around the World". It was written there that it means "I find my value in you, and you find your value in me," and that it represents "human kindness."
My own interpretation of the word is "understanding each other, appreciating each other's presence, and creating a future together."

私たちがこうありたいと願う会社のイメージを、憧れの画家 平野 傑 Tsuyoshi HIRANO.さんにARTに表現していただきました。
作品の中に描かれたのは…。陰と陽。幸せを降り注ぐ人と、しっかりと受け止める人。一人ではなく二人。もしくは、自分の中のもう一人。
シンボル的に中央に配されたのは、生命力に溢れる南アフリカの花プロテア。
切り花ゆえ、傷ついた茎には優しくリボンが巻かれ、そこには「Ubuntu」の文字。そして、最後に描かれた魂。
We asked Tsuyoshi HIRANO, a painter we admire, to create an artwork of the image of the company we want to be. What is depicted in the artwork? Yin and Yang. A person who pours happiness and a person who receives it firmly . Not one person, but two. Or another person within you. The symbolic centerpiece is a protea, a South African flower overflowing with vitality. A ribbon is gently wrapped around the damaged stem because it is a cut flower. And there are the word "Ubuntu" and the soul depicted at the end.
